How to access library e-resources from outside campus.

Off-Campus Access Guide

How to reach library e-resources when you are not on campus Wi‑Fi.

1. Sign in to the ASSAISIS portal with your student or staff account. 2. Open Library → Off-Campus Access for current instructions. 3. Use your college credentials where prompted by licensed databases. 4. Contact the library if a resource asks for a proxy password you do not have.

Recommended browsers & tips

Chrome or Edge; clear cache if login loops; avoid shared public PCs for licensed content.

Enable cookies for library sites. Do not share institutional passwords. Log out after using shared devices.

VPN / remote access (if enabled)

If the college provides VPN, connect first, then open database links.

Ask ICT / Network Admin for current VPN client and setup steps. Library staff can confirm which resources require VPN.

Students can deposit work after signing in (Library → Deposit). Lecturers can upload research papers from Library → My Research Papers after sign-in.
